Video

I have never filmed any type of video or edited one before and was not super comfortable being in the video, so I decided to make a recipe. To begin, I thought through each step to ensure that I would have a clip of everything I needed when it came time to edit. This worked mostly except when I showed one item at the wrong time which is slightly obvious in the video. To set up the camera, I found a small tripod that I put on top of boxes to get an angle that was a birds eye view. I also attempted to use a phone camera at another angle, but the footage did not come out as I expected. For some of the clips I also filmed them when I was holding the camera so I could show a new view, so those clips were a little shaky. When it came to edit, I used Adobe Premiere Rush. I found that this was pretty straight forward and easy to learn considering I have never edited a video. Most of my clips were one long clip that I cut and moved around throughout the video, and I found that it was not too difficult to piece it all together. I also tried to play around with speeding up some clips and adding title clips. I also added some royalty and copyright free music, so the video was not silent. I think it was okay for my first attempt. The uploading from there was easy as it automatically did it when the video was shared. Although I was very intimidated by this assignment in the beginning, I actually found it interesting learning how to edit and put together a video.
